Glossybox — February 2015

I was soooo excited to see this month’s Glossybox and I have to say it really is one of the best ones I have seen in awhile, it might even be my favorite. I am soooo in love with the box design this month and I can’t wait to figure out how I’m going to use it/display it around my room.

Glossybox’s limited edition box design this month was Valentine’s Day-themed and so were all of the items in the box. I took a bunch of photos of the actual box this month (which I don’t usually do) just because it was so pretty.

It was a little hard for me to open up the box because I just loved the way everything was packaged. Glossybox always has their tissue paper plus a ribbon wrapped around the products inside the box, but I was loving the pink and white paper this month and I can’t wait to figure out how I’m going to use this hot pink ribbon!

The products this month were also amazing! I’m loving every single one of them. Glossybox is definitely one of my favorite subscription boxes and I really love the value you get from each box. They send out five items each month which are mostly full-sized or great deluxe-sized samples.

I find a lot of amazing products through Glossybox and even the smaller-sized items last awhile and there is always more than enough product for me to get a real feel for how the products work. I think this is especially important when it comes to skincare products because you usually have to use those for at least a few days before you see real results.

Rituals Cosmetics Foaming Shower Gel Sensation in Yogi Flow

Rituals Cosmetics Foaming Shower Gel Sensation in Yogi Flow ($15 for 6.7 oz.; us.rituals.com): A full-sized, super cool and refreshing shower gel. This gel transforms into a rich foam upon contact with water and it is infused with sweet almond oil and Indian rose. I used this once so far and I loved it! I’m always looking for new and exciting bath products and I was super happy to find that there was more than one exciting bath product in my Glossybox this month.

Julep Color Treat Nail Color in Heartleigh

Julep Color Treat Nail Color in Heartleigh ($14 or $11.20 for Julep Maven subscribers, 0.27 oz.; julep.com): I already received this beautiful holographic glitter top coat in my February Julep Maven box and I loved it. I’ve been using it a lot lately and I was honestly considering buying another one at some point when mine ran out, so I am more than happy to now have an extra bottle. I don’t usually like glitter top coats (or glitter polish in general) but this contains pretty little hearts and white glitter specks. You can easily get the hearts out of the bottle to individually apply them or you can sweep the polish over your nails like a regular glitter top coat.

Unwash Bio-Cleansing Conditioner

Unwash Bio-Cleansing Conditioner ($36 for 13.5 oz.; unwash.com): Another super awesome bath/shower product this month … a cleansing conditioner, yay! I honestly never use shampoos/conditioners that come in subscription boxes because I started using cleansing conditioner a little over a year ago (it has really changed my hair for the better), so I was soooo excited to see a cleansing conditioner in my Glossybox this month! I tried this one out as soon as I got it and I loved the results. This fruit-scented formula cleanses the hair thoroughly without stripping natural oils, moisture or compromising color.

Teadora Nourishing Exfoliating Bar in Rainforest At Dawn

Teadora Nourishing Exfoliating Bar in Rainforest At Dawn ($5 for 1.5 oz.; teadorabeauty.com): This was the third new and unique bath and body product this month (well … new and unique for me, at least). This exfoliating soap bar contains Amazonian superfruits, coffee butter and powerful botanicals and works as a “multi-functional organic bar” that promises to slough away dead cells while hydrating and firming the skin. It also has a scent that is “designed to reflect morning in the Brazilian rainforest” with “an awakening citrusy burst of bergamot and lemon,” plus notes of woods, fresh florals, basil and eucalyptus. I am super excited to try this one out!

Royal Apothic Tinties Lip Butter in Pink review and photos. Glossybox February 2015 Review + Photos. Photo copyright 2015: Sugarglow makeup, beauty, lifestyle, fashion, diy, etc. blog. www.sugarglowbeauty.com.

Royal Apothic Tinties Lip Butter in Pink

Royal Apothic Tinties Lip Butter in Pink ($14 for 0.12 oz.; royalapothic.com): This last product is perhaps my favorite product this month … a tinted lip balm in a super cute container. Even the packaging of this lip balm is cute and I really want to save it and put it on display somewhere in my makeup collection. This sweet pink lip balm is comprised of soothing ingredients like argan, grape seed and almond oils as well as shea butter.

Royal Apothic Tinties Lip Butter in Pink

I had to take two photos of this lip balm because it is just so super cute. I’m in love with the “vintage-inspired” packaging and, of course, the fact that it is in my favorite color — pink. 🙂

Subscription Box Breakdown:

This is definitely one of my favorite Glossyboxes ever. If I had a subscription box rating system I would definitely give this a 10 out of 10. I love every single product this month — I thought it was a great mix of products and I am definitely going to use every single one. All of the products were full-sized, except for the cleansing conditioner, which was still a great size and definitely big enough to really test out the product (I can definitely get multiple uses out of that tube). Also I am in love with the box design this month. So yay for the February Glossybox!
