I am obsessed with planner decorating and every time I see something new that I can use in my planner I absolutely have to have it! I’m the first to admit that I have been going a little overboard recently, but most of these accessories are so cheap that it doesn’t hurt my wallet at all.
I actually haven’t made a post about how I organize and decorate my planner yet but I will be writing that post up in the next couple of days. I just bought some new accessories for my planner so I wanted to get this post up before these items aren’t available anymore.
Most of them are Etsy finds that I can easily make myself, but I love supporting independent Etsy shops and getting the inspiration to create my own planner accessories. That’s actually what I did with these bookmarks that I bought — I got inspired to make a bunch of my own, and I”m going to write up a post on those soon, too.
But anyway, here are some cute new accessories that I found to organize and decorate my planner … !
I love, love, love Target’s dollar section … lately I think I’ve been liking the dollar section more than the stuff in the rest of the store because they always have super cute accessories for writing, organizing, crafting and, of course, PLANNING! They are always getting new items in too, so it’s super awesome that I find something new pretty much every time I go.
As soon as I saw these little page flags I grabbed two packs of them. They’re only $1 each and I would have picked up more but I have so many similar products already that I really didn’t need more than two. They’re pretty little watercolor stickies and they come with 30 sheets per pack. Target changes a lot from store to store and region to region but these are fairly new so you should be able to find them (or at least something very similar) in your local Target store (not available online).
I love these brightly-colored planning stickers from TheResetGirl‘s Etsy shop. I just bought myself a little sticker maker/laminator/label-making machine so I’m going to make some of my own daily planner stickers but these are great in the meantime and I love the arrow shape. Plus, it’s going to be a little bit of a pain when I make my own stickers because I’ll have to cut each one out individually, so the great thing about these stickers is that they are shipped to you kiss cut and ready to use! They also have a matte finish so it’s easy to write on them.
You can buy these stickers for $4 from TheResetGirl’s Etsy shop, or check out all the other cute stickers that she has for sale.
These paper clips can also be made pretty easily but, like I said, I love supporting independent shops and I love buying different items and then getting inspiration to make some of my own 🙂 I originally ordered the pretty pink ribbon paper clips but I was accidentally sent the super cute owl paper clips instead. Rochelle from SatinPaper was nice enough to let me keep the owls, so I was super happy about the mistake! I plan on ordering some more paper clips from her shop again soon.
There are a bunch of different kinds of paper clip designs in the SatinPaper Etsy shop and these ribbons, specifically, come in a few different colors. I chose the pink ones because I love how they look with my lilac Kikki K planner. I don’t think the pink ones are currently available but I think Rochelle adds new ones all the time.
Right now you can buy blue ribbon paper clips (they come in a set of four) for $4 from the SatinPaper Etsy shop and the owls are available in different colors (a set of five) for $0.50 (!) from the same shop.
And the last items in this post are these super cute “Kikki K style” printables from KristineCheryl‘s Etsy shop! The bookmarks on the left are what inspired me to make my own set of bookmarks (which I’m going to post sometime this weekend) — I laminated these and added holes so that they would easily fit into my planner.
I don’t see these bookmarks on the Etsy shop anymore and I wonder why she would take them down as they seemed to be one of the most popular items (and it’s a printable file). But there are a few other cute printable bookmark designs in the KristineCheryl Etsy shop that are priced at $4.
The monthly expenses sheet is also really cute and it’s exactly what I needed for my planner as far as personal finance planning goes. This is also an item that I can easily make myself but it was a super cheap download ($2) and the color really does look great when it’s printed. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to capture the true color of these printables in the photo I took. I’m still playing around with this camera and I will get the hang of the manual settings soon enough! You can buy the monthly expenses printable from KristineCheryl’s Etsy shop.
So these were all of my newest planner accessories! I can’t wait to write up more planner decorating and organizing posts and I’m really looking forward to sharing my personal planner here on my blog 🙂 Thanks for reading!
