I am really, really, really trying to get into the habit of blogging and have a better flow … I really want to try to get at least one post up every day. Or a couple of posts every other day, something like that. It’s not as easy as I first thought! There’s a lot of work that goes into this blogging business, and I have huge respect for all of the dedicated bloggers out there, perhaps even more so now. Either way, I love blogging and I really intend to make this work. 🙂
So, with that being said, I just wanted to note that this post is my weekly planner view for last week (Week 45: November 2-8). I plan on posting these weekly planner posts a lot earlier in the week from now on, and I will hopefully get this week’s pages up tomorrow, but I really liked my pages last week and I still wanted to post about them, even if it is late.
I use a Kikki K lilac personal planner. I’m obsessed with Kikki K everything and I use a lot of their stuff to decorate my planner and decorate other DIY-ish projects. The lilac personal planner is no longer available (I got it last year), but there are a bunch of other lovely colors and styles over at Kikki-K.com, with new products added every month.
This week I got to use my super cute and awesome new Sailor Moon washi tape that I found on Etsy. I love original washis like this one — it’s a pretty, manga-esque version of Sailor Moon on a light blue background (which I think is supposed to be the sky), with her long meatball pigtails blowing in the wind, complete with a castle in the background, her pink bow and, of course, a couple of yellow moons, added for good measure. There’s even an image of a chibi Sailor Moon standing in one of the moon designs, which is all kinds of adorable.
I bought this washi tape as part of a pack of two for $10 from Marisstore on Etsy. Any washi tape-obsessed Sailor Moon fan should really check this out — it’s both pretty and cute, and very unique, which I love.
I used a mini sticky note from Kikki K at the very top of my weekly pages last week which made it easy to jot down a quick To Do list. These sticky notes are part of the Kikki K Cute Adhesive Note Set ($4.95; kikki-k.com), which comes with four different printed sticky note designs that have a super cute fruit-y theme.
The little ice cream cone stickers in the top left corner are from Michael’s. I love these stickers and figured that they went along with my cute theme this week, plus the pink and yellow matched well with my new Sailor Moon washi tape.
For some extra cuteness I added in these ice cream cone stickers which are part of the Kikki K Cute Soft Stickers 2PK ($3.95; kikki-k.com). There are a bunch of different (and super adorable) stickers in this pack, not just ice cream cones, but I picked these out specifically this week because the colors matched quite well. The glitter star in the left-hand corner is a random gold glitter stars and hearts sticker sheet I got at Target a few months ago, they might still have it but I’m not positive about that.
The sticker of Sailor Chibi Moon’s scepter in the top right corner of the planner page, along with the mini moon sticker, is part of this Sailor Moon sticker sheet I bought on Etsy (above photo). The sheet came with 27 die-cut stickers and I bought it for $5 from PoisonAndAntidote on Etsy. She sells a lot of other really cute stickers and the shipping was really quick for me.
And, finally, the last thing I added to my planner pages last week were a couple of Kikki K tags that act as both a bookmark and a decoration (I move it around to the left side once I get to Thursday). These are both from the Kikki K Cute Paper Lover’s Book ($29.95; kikki-k.com), which is jam-packed with a bunch of different DIY goodies that include stickers, tags, writing paper, patterned paper, a few paper DIY projects and more.
There are a bunch of different designs throughout the book as well (not just the cute ice cream and fruits). I might still do a review of the whole Paper Lover’s book in a post of its own because it really is such a great idea and has a lot of stuff to make any paper lover happy, like me.
In case anyone was interested, the other washi tapes that I used this week were from Michael’s (the blue-gray tape) and from Scotch brand (the hot pink glitter tape). I’m not sure if the Michael’s tape is still available, but the Scotch brand glitter tape is definitely available at Target, Staples and pretty much anywhere else that Scotch washi tape is sold.
Thank you for checking out my blog! I will be posting my planner pages for Week 46 hopefully tomorrow, as well as my monthly view for November. <3
